March 28th - April 4th

Memory verse of the week

The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.”
— Psalm 110:1

Question to consider: Is there proof that Jesus is the Messiah promised by God?

Practice: Pray through Psalm 110 using the words of the passage to shape your acclamation of Jesus.

Hello friend,

I hope you're doing well in the Lord. Here is a word of encouragement and a thought-provoking note from Henri:

"Is it possible in the midst of this fear-provoking world to live in the house of love and listen to the questions raised by the Lord of love? Or are we so accustomed to living in fear that we have become deaf to the voice that says: “Do not be afraid”? This reassuring voice, which repeats over and over again: “Do not be afraid, have no fear” is the voice we most need to hear….. “Do not be afraid, do not be afraid, do not be afraid.” The voice uttering these words sounds all through history as the voice of God's holy messengers, be they angels or saints. It is the voice that announces a whole new way of being, a being in the house of love, the house of the Lord." Henri Nouwen.

I look forward to seeing you all this Sunday as we gather together again and make much of Jesus. See you at 9:19 for a time of fellowship ( coffee/donuts/tea) and good vibes :).

***The purpose of tithing is to remind us that God is the supplier of everything and it teaches us to always put God first in our lives. The word "tithe" means tenth or ten percent. Tithing, or giving ten percent of your income isn't merely giving something to God, it's giving back what was His, to begin with. All that we have, or hope to have, comes from Him. May you be blessed abundantly as you give generously and cheerfully with all your heart!
